Or are you having randleman make me a brake line? Lol Wait.. you guys are enticing me to finish the build... that's what this is all about huh? Lol.. I just finished my final exam today. And I'm leaving engineering classes alone for at least 2 months. I'm burnt out. It's really intense.
You will also need to make a brake light cable. And there are tons of decent master cylinders all over eBay for a chill look. The calipers I got was a stock style in chrome for like 20$ in think... easy swap if you stay stock rotor.. or don't get unlucky (like I did 1 out of 2) for the larger rotors. I seriously think that I got one that was machined backwards.. still never figured that out after 2 attempts I just had it made. I really am happy that I did get it made because I love the look and stopping power of front and rear over sized rotors.
If you really wanna go crazy but 10 inch wheels Cory from fukingfast had double disc set ups.
Yes axle is stock. Caliper is stock. And you would need stock length for the brake line. I forget what I got for lengthy on my line..
That should be the length you want for Vento sport style
This is the swing arm dealer. I went with carbon fiber graphic. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F183076843518
Also make sure the rim will fit over the drum brake set up. If all is good there it's an easy swap. Coukd even fab a foot peddle and use drum as an Ebrake? Just a thought...
the rear disk did not need anything fabricated. It was the front. I did need to get a swing arm tho. I also went with a larger disc than what a stock rear would be. So if your going with stock size disc you should be good. The swing arm I got from Puerto Rico eBay seller. if your interested in the larger disc that's where you may have issue. They come with a extended bracket bracket but 1 worked and one didnt. The one that worked i couldn't find anywhere but my buddy can make one for small money just copying one that did work. Front and rear both use the same exact bracket too. So this has still got me confused.
Update to my build. I have a guy coming next week to take a look at making me a gas tank mount. My engineering class ends Sunday and I'm taking onky simple classes to allow myself extra free time.
She is super cool. So its fine. Now its 5 boys to 2 girls. If you count animals too lol..
Honestly needed more females in the house. 2 mothers makes my life much easier with kids.. I'm a working Dad so if the wife has help then I am off the hook. Lol..
Yeah life got super tough.. but my mother in law just moved in from NJ and now me and the wife got help with the kids I should be able to get back to working at it. I also got a guy coming to take a look at it for welding brackets for the gas tank mounts. Also gonna port match the intake for the 32mm manifold.
